ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND PERSONAL GROWTH
Helped raise money for cancer patients in a walk-a-thon. Did volunteer work for
the community. Mentored a 9 yr. old girl who was having problems at school.
Assisted a kindergarten class in reading and learning activities. Volunteer for
Samaritans purse every year collecting shoe boxes for underpriledged children in
this country and other countries. This past year it was for 16 hours when i was
pregnant with my son. Vacation Bible School Teacher for a class of 4th-5th grade
at church. Volunteered at nursing home, reading to the patients. I feel
accomplished when I can help someone and know that i've made a difference in
their life.
EDUCATION
Went to school at Starmount Highschool. My major was art and science.
Took Honors English courses I-IV,Art I-IV,Independent Studies, Chemistry,
Pre-Alegebra, Algebra, History, Interior Design, and Marketing. Head of
Book Club for 4 years and participated in Bible Club for 4 years also.
Graduated in 2005.
Went to Surry Community College. Studied Criminology, Legal Studies,
Basic Law, Art, Writing, Sociology, and English. Went 1 year. Had to stop so
I could take care of my sick father who was in a wheelchair.
