Work History
Intel Corporation 1997 to June 2009
Maintained and repaired wafer manufacturing equipment, chemical delivery, pressure
and vacuum systems inside Fab11 clean room. Trained and mentored peer technicians
on equipment and electrical safety procedures. Coordinated repair and maintenance
actions around operational schedules. Installed equipment updates and modifications to
engineering specifications, schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
Operated electron microscopes, mass spectrometers and other defect metrology
equipment assisting production departments in mitigating wafer contamination issues
throughout factory line as a process control technician for product quality.
Calibrated and repaired variety of mechanical, pressure, gas flow, metering, electrical
and electronic test equipments in the on-site calibration lab. Also provided safety
coaching as certified ergonomics inspector.
Electronics Technician 1976-1997
Repaired and maintained a variety of equipments including but not limited to: desktop
computers, high power radar, sonar, video, navigation, RF communication transmitters
and receivers, crypto voice/data systems, antennas and transmission media.
Also held a variety of shipboard and shore based supervisory roles in the Electronic
Repair and Calibration Lab Departments. Filled additional roles as submarine systems
repair quality control inspector, divisional electrical safety inspector, preventive
maintenance scheduling and electrical safety tag-out program coordinators.
