New Start Up of a Sheet Metal / Powder Coating Operation.

Working in a Sheetmetal Subcontract environment my Responsibilities

Included:

Managing the Day to Day running of the Engineering Department. Ensure all

Engineering Projects are kept within Schedule. Maintain Engineering

Documentation Control Procedures. Estimate/Quote Customers New Products.

Creating 3D Models and Drawings using Radan CAD Software. Establish/Design

and Purchase any Tooling Required. Creating Flat Developments and Produce

Programs for the Trumpf Punching and Laser Machines. Provide Guidance with

Ensure the Quick turnaround of Prototype products. Create Flat Developments

from either drawings, 3d models, iges, dxf or samples using Radan, Tops 200

or HP Solid Designer. Create Programs for the Amada or Trumpf Punching

Centres. Producing Route Card Planning and BOM creation on a MRP system.

Ensure all Departments are aware of any Items required or Specifications.

Carry out routine checks on the Progress of Prototypes. And generally

providing a Service to the Shop Floor to ensure all Specification and

Deliveries are met.
