Job R sum
I am a very motivated ** year old male; I finished my technical
training in the field of air condition, refrigeration and heating in 1976.
I worked for two years on the Las Vegas strip directly after finishing
school. Here I gain experience in all areas of hotel maintenance, and was
also trained, and worked as hotel security police.
I transferred from the hotel I was working for to another branch in
Palm Spring California. After working there for one year as head of
maintenance I went into the field as a service technician to gain
experience in Air conditioning, heating, and Refrigeration. After a year
of field experience I got a position in one of the premier hotels in the
City; America Canyon Hotel as hotel Engineering.
I worked for America Canyon for a total of seven years with great
respect, and success. There were a total of fourteen engineers, and we all
had areas of responsibility; I maintain all kitchen equipment, walk-in
freezers, and coolers; stoves, steamers ice machines etc.
During my tenure with Canton I was made employee of the month on three
different occasions, and employee of the year also.
After those seven years I was offered a Chief Engineers position in
Ventura California.
This hotel was located at Harbor town on the beach. Harbor Town was a great
experience; however at the time was in chapter thirteen. I continued
working with the knowledge I had been promised a hotel in San Bernardino
Calif.
In January of 1989 I was hired as director of engineering for the San
Bernardino Hilton Hotel.
Being Head of engineering I over saw all aspects of property; including
maintenance, engineering, energy, and budget management. During my period
of service I over saw two four million dollar renovation projects
During my employment with any of the facilities mention I always
maintain a great working relationship with fellow managers, and employees.
I left the Hilton in 1997 for a job closer to home. My last place of
employment was with Marriott Hotels in Palm Desert California; whom I work
for as maintenance engineer until 2005 because of kidney failure.
In March of 2008 I received a transplant at the University of
Wisconsin. I am healthy and strong, and ready to go to work. I've been
involved in green energy research while I was off work.
