manufacturing experience in the competitive automotive industry; specializing in the production of tooling and
quality control gages for Tier 1 suppliers of automotive hose and assemblies. My background is diverse and
includes: Machine Operator, CAD/CAM Designer, Salesperson, Marketer, Inventor, Network Administrator,
Manager, and Business Owner have given me the ability to see the big picture without losing track of the
details. I am driven by company goals, customer satisfaction, quality, and insuring efficiency throughout the
production process. I am seeking to leverage my experience and passion toward a new career direction.
I possess the ability to adapt quickly to any given situation and find solutions by utilizing my experience,
resources and knowledge base to guide me. A fast paced and competitive job setting has molded me into being

Daily Operation: I provided structure and guidance for all of the day to day

operations to insure service, quality, and cost effective use of resources. Departmental
performance progress was reported to an absentee co owner. My foremost duty was to
develop and conduct ongoing business as an innovative niche supplier to the Automotive
Hose Industry. The current scope of this activity was as a Tier 2 supplier within North,
Central, and South America.
Leadership: I have past success in being a “hands on” Manager. Leading by

example; including strong ethics and actual demonstration of how to perform a skill often
formed a bridge between the employee and Manager, leading to mutual respect. The
cohesive construction of a unified organization starts at the top. As a leader, I defined the
organization's vision, mission, and goals towards profitability and growth. It was my
responsibility to see these elements manifest within the company’s operational culture. A
personal touch is sometimes the best approach.
Quality: I researched, implemented, and directed the company’s ISO 9001

certification. The minor adjustment of the company’s culture to focus on quality allowed
for a greater competitive edge in the company’s operations. Lean Manufacturing and
continuous improvement drove innovation within our processes. My specifications for
capital investment in Metrology equipment improved product control, deadlines, and
efficiency.
Sales: I researched, identified, cold called, and visited possible new customer

candidates. Emphasis was placed on service elements that created convenience for the
customers. These strategies ranged from prepaid overnight envelopes to customized excel
spreadsheets for Request For Quotes. Personal, face to face, customer visits were standard
procedure for nurturing relationships, which included Fortune 500 companies.
Digital Data: Researched and implemented the company’s Enterprise Resource

Planning System. The data collected through the use of the system became the prime
assessment tool for all aspects of the company’s operations. It allowed for a pragmatic and
unbiased evaluation of performance metrics.
Marketing: Promoted the company through a variety of media avenues. The most

prevalent means were advertising in trade publications, trade shows, line cards, internet
sources, website development, and website analysis. The company also maintained
involvement in the community with sponsorship in local events.
Network Administrator: Continuously maintained and updated the company’s

computer systems and servers. Performed software installations, software upgrades,
hardware repair, hardware upgrades, integration of Direct Numerical Control (DNC)
systems, wiring, and integration of data collection. I also managed the users, groups, File

CAD/CAM Designer: Responsible for interpreting customer blueprints and

shop and assembly drawings, and customer prints. Customized post files for efficiency with
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment.
CNC Operator and Programmer: Performed CNC and DNC operations on milling

machines. Detailed operations for production and prototype work with various ferrous,
nonferrous, and composite materials.
Machine Operator: Interpreted customer prints and information. Performed

production and prototype work on manual mills, lathes, and bending equipment. Various
ferrous and nonferrous materials were used in these operations.
