OBJECTIVE: I wish to obtain long term employment with potential for growth,

whether it is in a clinical or clerical capacity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Although I no longer hold an active nursing license, I practiced

nursing as an LPN for several years. I have a broad range of

experience including gerontology, home health nursing, teaching,

infection control management, phlebotomy, ICD-9 coding and management

of a family practice clinic. I am also proficient in Microsoft, IDX,

star navigator, and Kronos payroll computer systems.

EMPLOYMENT

2007. Office Manager, Chickamauga Family Practice

I was hired as medical assistant over the Laboratory. I was

responsible for drawing all labs for 2 physicians, maintaining all QC

functions and records, ICD-9 coding of all labs and triaging patients

as needed. I was promoted to office manager and was responsible for

billing of all patient visits, hiring new staff as needed and the

daily operation of the practice

1992-1995 LPN, Hutcheson Medical Center

Began as staff nurse with duties that included home visits to home

health

patients. I eventually managed the home health office in the

LaFayette area.

Duties here included scheduling, processing labs, obtaining

referrals and

recertification of patients.

1991-1992 LPN, Dr. Richard Smith

Employed as office nurse for Dr. Smith. Duties included prepping

patients,

administering meds, assisting MD with procedures, drawing labs,

obtaining

EKG's and x-rays as ordered.

1988-1990 LPN, Sheperd Hills Health Care Center

I began as charge nurse responsible for patient care and supervision

of C.N.A's.

I was then promoted to Patient Care Coordinator. The duties of this

position

included orientation of new hires, infection control

management, planning and

teaching of all in-service training, developing patient care

plans and supervision

of LPN's and C.N.A's.

1986-1987 LPN, Quinton Memorial Health Care Center

Charge nurse - responsible for administration of meds, patient

care and

supervision of certified nursing assistants.
