EDITING/PROOFREADING EXPERIENCE

For the last 30 years, I have been writing, editing and proofreading a wide

range of materials on a daily basis: ads, brochures, resumes, proposals,

press releases, television and radio scripts, and entire books.

A few years ago I edited and proofread a full-length book titled "From

Great Wilderness to Seaway Towns," a comparative history of two St.

Lawrence Seaway area communities spanning 1784-2001. The book was

originally a doctoral dissertation, and the author's faculty advisor, a

stickler for grammar, could find no errors in her manuscript after my

edits.

I have also edited a full-length instructional book for hair stylists for

Milady Press for Delmar Publishers.

I am an extremely fast typist (85+ WPM) and am proficient in Microsoft

Word.
