National health & specialty insurance for commercial (business), military,

individuals and seniors.

IT Project Manager (PMP) / Agile SCRUMmaster

IT Project manager for Humana's newest division, HumanaOne, which provides

Insurance to individual consumers via a WEB-based system for Online direct

consumer & Agent sales and Call Center supported sales.

. Starting November 2006, as ScrumMaster, I led my team's successful

transition to the use of Agile development from traditional Waterfall

SDLC. All other HumanaOne teams joined us in using Agile at the start of

2007. Under Agile led my self-directed team to a bi-weekly development

cycle (cadence) continuously driving highest business value requests into

HumanaOne's nine release cycles per year with, consistently, the lowest UA

(user acceptance) defect count in HumanaOne.

. As HumanaOne's PMP, enhanced understanding of and adherence to Humana's

corporate IT-PMO defined project lifecycle and to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley)

driven procedures. Under Waterfall I produced project plans and schedules

that IT used to drive our understanding of each project's functional

requirements (definition) toward the estimate that is subsequently used as

the base-line for development, testing and implementation within our

annually defined release schedule.

BA MERCHANT SERVICES, Louisville, KY 1997-2005

US bankcard merchant acquirer, processes more than 1 of every 5 Visa/MC US

transactions.

IT Team / Resource / Relationship Manager

Provided product development & project management for Commission Express

application, UATP (Universal Air Travel Program) InControl application and

CADRE (Credit Card consumer dispute & reconciliation) applications.

. CommExpress was an aggregate payment & currency conversion application

for Travel Agencies worldwide. Provided customer relationship management

that helped grow the product from its original three U.S. customers to an

International customer base for Commission payments of all major U.S. and

International Car Rentals, Cruise Lines, Hotels, Tour Operators and

Airlines that make up the commission driven Travel Industry. Global

payments were achieved via EDI connectivity to National City Bank, Bank of

Montreal and Deutsche Bank of Germany.

. InControl was the Billing, Remittance & Reconciliation application for

United Airline's Air Travel Credit Card. Application was client/server

design with Oracle database on IBM UNIX servers. The base application was

MicroFocus Cobol.

. CADRE was a client/server system with Oracle database on HP and Sun UNIX

servers using Eastman's document imaging software. Application features

include automated email/faxing and seamless interfaces with Visa,

MasterCard, and Diners. Applications are developed in C++, Delphi and

Visual C.
