I teach safe handling as well as sterile skills while managing all aspects of the meat department. I
demonstrate implementation of new policies and procedures and ideas from corporate headquarters. I
work closely with Proctor and Gamble as well as Oregon State Health Department and Agencies in
following the guidelines of state requirements for public health and safety.
My position is constantly changing with the policies and I am able to be flexible and work successfully in a
changing environment, as well as train and encourage employees.
I cover all aspects of Senior-level management experience in a retail chain store or franchise.
I have had college courses at Clackamas Community College in Business Law and Human Resources., I
also studies Marketing and Management, and Business Administration.
I also am shop steward for local 555 for the Portland Region in the Portland Retailers Union.
I demonstrate skills in training, motivating, and mentoring staff to help them achieve their full potential
and beyond. Have several awards with this company for ability to lead.
Reason for leaving: Within this year all meat will come in prepacked eliminating my job.
(Currently all pork and chicken are pre-packed.) Would really like to get out of retail but still be
able to use skills.

Reason for leaving: Company bought out by Winco where I stayed on for a couple months at a
drastic pay cut.
