Reading Tutor (graduate student, unpaid) - As a participant
in the University of Pittsburgh's summer reading clinic,
worked with two different children enrolled in Lincoln's
summer school program for fifty minutes each day; assessed
their abilities in reading and writing, analyzed the
results, and tailored subsequent instruction accordingly;
wrote an instructional plan for each child, assessed them
again at the end of the program, and wrote a final report
to go into their school record.
May 2005-May 2006 Sandalwood High School, Jacksonville, FL
Junior Class Sponsor (volunteer) - Asked by students to
serve as the junior class sponsor, a position which was
responsible for the organization of the annual Powder Puff
girls' football game, the Miss Sandalwood Beauty and Talent
Pageant, and the junior/senior prom; participated in after-
school meetings twice per week with the prom committee;
executed several lucrative fund raisers throughout the
year; and was the sole person in charge of four internal
accounts, a responsibility which included executing
deposits and check requisitions, balancing operating
reports, and managing large amounts of money.

After-School English Tutor (paid) - Stayed after school for
one hour Wednesdays and Thursdays to keep classroom open
for any student seeking tutoring in English.
