SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
I have more than 5 years of experience in systems analysis and help desk
operations servicing approximately 4500 users and managing close to 10,000
work orders in an office network environment. Similarly, I have over 2
years experience in field network environments (Cisco 4000 Series Routers
and 1924 Series Switches) assisting an approximate total of 5,000 users an
nearly as many work orders. These field networking maneuvers were
encompassed by several training exercises and my recent deployment to Iraq,
which included the layout, implementation, security and troubleshooting of
LAN/WAN infrastructure of Cisco routers, switches and hubs and the server
management of Windows Server 2000. This involved utilizing extensively,
Active Directory with programming various GPO's, running and setting up
DHCP and DNS servers, Exchange 5.0 & 2003 Server, MS-SQL Server, and
Symantec Antivirus Servers. I also was involved in the programming and
configuring of the various Cisco router and switch products used in support
of that mission (6509, 4507's, 2950's, and 3550's). I have 3 years Network
Administration including PC hardware-software (all windows platforms)
operation and maintenance. With that said, I have had extensive hands on
training and experience while in the U.S. Army.
SPECIFIC WORK\TASK EXPIERIENCE:
Senior LAN Manager - I have experience in network setup, layout, and
programming various Cisco Routers and Switches. In 2008 I worked with
Catalyst 1924, 3550 and 4507Series Switches and with the Catalyst 3600 and
4000 Series Routers implementing various LAN/WAN connections. As well as
manning the installation of virus protection programs, installation of
computer systems and software accountability.

Trouble Ticket Manager- I have experience working a trouble ticket helpdesk
where I successfully completed in excess of 5,000 work orders over a three
year period servicing hundreds of users. The helpdesk operations covered
creating accounts, setting up user profiles with Windows NT, 2000, and 2003
Server; hardware maintenance, systems reloads, and network troubleshooting.
In which I created roughly 1,000 user accounts and set up on the customers'
systems at least 400 user profiles on Windows 2000 and XP operating
systems. The helpdesk is an essential job in this environment whether
deployed or stateside, you have to know how to fix it all form CAT 5 cable
to copy machines, too all-in-one printers to desk jets, to power supply's
an anything the user brings to us because of difficulties they are having
you must gain the knowledge to troubleshoot the item as well as you can,
and in the end you have given yourself, yet even more knowledge on another
system. Also setup users blackberry's, showing them how to operate the
phone itself as well an be able to access the emails after I sync it to the
computer.

Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09- I played a key role in the layout, setup,
maintenance and administration of Third Armored Cavalry Regiment's Network
sustaining two distinct networks of differing security classifications from
Un-Class to Secret, Networks in all covering more than 15,000 systems
throughout the Mosul area of operation; services nearly the same amount of
users from our Cornel down to the lowliest Private. Throughout the
deployment I was in charge of troubleshooting many machines that were used
in theatre to include CPOFS, MCS box, ABCS systems and the FBCB2. Included
also are the SQL servers. I managed security issues of the 3rd Armored
Cavalry's network, to include security scans with Retina, Group Policy
Updates, and Patches. Also the use of remote desktop, to conduct individual
scans. I also imaged over 1700 computers with all of the necessary programs
as well as special programs which pertained to only certain users. I also
repaired laptops and desktops that had crashed, had viruses, or needed
hardware and software updates to run newer programs.

own profile. I create databases, forms and memos as needed. I also manage
