D'onofrio-Kottke and Associates, Inc

This is a Madison based Engineering firm that was awarded

the engineering contract for the 2010 Street and Utility

improvements for the City of Monona. I was selected to do

the construction inspection of this project. Here I ensure

the compliance of the local and state standards as well as

compliance with the approved design. This project is a

total rehabilitation of 4 streets in a residential section

of Monona. This includes sections of the sanitary sewer be

removed and replaced, the entire water main replaced, new

storm sewer added and the street is to be replaced. I was

selected for this position because my training and

experience has given me a strong background in municipal

projects.

2009-2010 (June to January)

Installing and maintaining satellite

TV systems. I took this job during the economic down

turn while attempting to resume my

civil career.

2001-2008

Martenson & Eisele Inc.

At this Fox Valley based Architecture and Engineering

company I did a variety of engineering tasks. The company

acts as the engineer for the towns of Freedom, Greenville,

Clayton and the Waverly Sanitary district. The company also

does contract Planning, Surveying, Engineering,

Architecture and Environmental work. Along with the CADD of

engineering projects I did site planning and development,

pipe sizing, cost estimation, construction inspection,

surveying, project management, recorded project progress

and finalized documentation. In this position I was able to

work on municipal projects from concept to completion with

a strong emphasis on municipal infrastructure.

1991-2001

STS Consultants Ltd.

I did CADD for construction projects

such as landfills with waste water

collection and tranfer piping

systems, environmental remediation, Groundwater collection

systems, site development, mining

projects, I also did surveying,

environmental sampling, construction

inspection and testing.

1991 (summer)

City of Appleton Dept. of Public works, Engineering

Division

I took a summer job here as an engineers aide. I did manual

and Autocad drafting, sewer inspection, road inspection and

quantity estimation and totals. This was a limited term job

for the summer.

1990-1991

NWTC

I attended school here in the Civil Engineering/Public

works Technician program. Studying CADD drafting,

surveying, materials testing along with other courses

related to civil engineering.

I also worked at LCL transit on a part time basis while

attending school.

1983-1990

Robinson Metal and Roofing

At this job I worked in the

companies three departments (metal, roofing and heating). I did

extensive metal fabrication work

involving the use of press brakes, shears, punches,

rollers, welders, saws along with a

number of other fabricating tools.

1979-1983

U. S. Coast Guard

Duties were, search and rescue, law enforcement, aid to

navigation. I achieved the rank of petty officer and was

honorably discharged after my 4 year enlistment.

Education I graduated Green Bay West High. I attended NWTC for Civil

Engineering/Public Works

Technology. I've taken a number of

short courses related to the engineering field such as

Public works inspection skills (UW Madison), Advanced Civil

CADD (UW Milwaukee),

Land Development (Auto desk) and some others related to

drafting and program updates.

Other Skills Can operate Autocad, Land Development, Eagle

point, Auto Turn, Excel, Microsoft Word

and type 40 wpm.
