. Addressing the CANCOM vessel identification problem by incorporating

Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) features into the program. Being

uniquely transponder based, this sure-fire way of identification further

reduced operator intervention and bolstered program operation.

. Configuring a 3600 Series Cisco router, including an IOS upgrade, and a

Cisco Pix hardware firewall to work in unison with each other to

efficiently route IP packets, and ferret out, isolate and/or block

unwanted communication traffic
