. Provided Utilities and Facilities Project Management Support for a
$239MM plant expansion focusing on the installation, start-up, and
management of the Largest Ammonia Industrial Refrigeration System for
an Ice Cream Plant, all Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning
(HVAC), Industrial Compressed Air Systems, and Infrastructures of
Natural Gas, County Water, Steam, Nitrogen, Wastewater Pre-Treatment
Systems, Glycol Systems, and Facilities equipment involving all doors,
walls, flooring, lighting, building utilities, etc. Implemented
Inspection, Work Order, and Preventive Maintenance Programs for the
above. Implemented Thermography, Oil Analysis, Vibration Analysis, and
other Predictive Technologies to identify and resolve root causes
through design, operation, maintenance, or process changes.
. Drove the implementation and upgrades for the Process Safety
Management (PSM) Program and the EPA Risk Management Program (RMP)
incrementally up to a present 9.40/10.00 Audit Rating for this new
plant including the existing plant's original program that scored
minimal. Continue to manage and continuously improve the PSM Program
to incorporate a Zero Ammonia Leak Mindset. Implemented ISO14001
Documentation Control for PSM. Facilitated New Employee Orientation
for Ammonia Safety, PSM, Emergency Planning & Response, and Hazmat.
Certified Hazmat Technician. Participated and supported Ammonia Safety
Audit (ASA) Teams for other Nestle plants and participate in the
Ammonia Task Force (ATF) for Nestles and the Ammonia Safety Network
for Dreyer's.
. Developed Annual and Long Range Operating Plans and forecasted
Budgets, for the Utilities and Facilities, as well as, developed
entire Preventive Maintenance Programs for the Utilities and
Facilities.
. Performed Capital Projects involving Ammonia Upgrades, Re-Roofing,
Wastewater chemical cost reductions ($22K), Stretch Wrapper
installations ($36K), Door installations and modifications ($115K),
HVAC unit replacements supporting Ozone Depleting and Global Warming
Potential Elimination ($75K), and Refrigeration design, right-sizing,
installation and startups for production freezers and hardeners.
Nestles, Dreyer's, Edy's, Haagen Dazs, and Eskimo Ice Cream Brands
involved including Original, Slow Churn, & Skinny Cow (low fat)
products. Recently supported the installation and startups of an Auto-
Palletizing Project ($10.3M) involving 13 Lorenz Pan Palletizers with
Multi-line and Single line arrangements, 2 LVT Stretch Wrappers,
multiple Nercon inlet Conveyor Systems, Full & Empty Pallet Transfer
Systems, incorporated and sequenced from production lines through an
Autobahn Conveyor System from the old side of the plant and individual
lines from the new side of the plant.
. Reduced Manufacturing and Energy costs through Total Productive
Maintenance (TPM), Resource Conservation, and Plant Engineering
Projects. Participated in multiple cross-functional TPM Pillars and
In Teams. Worked with merging Autonomous and Preventative Maintenance
planning and applications.
. Hired, Trained, Managed, Provided Corrective Actions, and Terminated
candidates positively to achieve high performance Utilities Team (15
positions), Facilities Team, (8 positions) and Auto-Palletizing Team
(8 positions).
