Profile:
I’m very well spoken and really good with dealing with people and being able to interact with
kids as well as adults, and I’m a great listener. I’m also a faster learner who is able to catch on to
jobs and different task very quick. I was a Youth leader at my church for over 4 years. I worked
with children of all ages. Also, I was a Children’s Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club of
America. I was over arranging different activities for the kids and oversee the different programs
to make sure things were followed as ordered. I did community service through Bench Mark
Nursing Home where I helped with the elderly such as take to bathroom, moving them around,
exercise and also sing. In addition I was a Psychology major with a minor in Gerontology. While
attending school at William Carey University I interned at Ellisville State School working with
Case Management and Special Education, where I dealt with kids and adults with Mental
Retardation and other Disorders helping them with everyday functions, also activities and see to
the patients received their counseling or help he or she needed. In addition to me working with
different patients; I followed around the psychologist and figured out different diagnosis as well
as helping determine different medications the patients should have. Also, I did an internship
through Pine Meadow (Emeritus). This is a senior assisted living facility, where I conducted the
daily activities with elderly who have Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Also I followed the Director of
the Senior Living facility around and watched how different marketing strategies were figured
out, as well as, help to keep notes and files of the different residents who where there in the
building and etc. Then I assisted them with their ADL’s and IADL’s. Through Case Management I
assisted in balancing checkbooks cleaning their homes, also kept records of what the clients were
doing through out their daily routines. In addition to the cleaning and checkbook balancing I
helped with their shopping and took them out into the community just to interact with others and
made sure medications were taking on time and properly. Although I am a Psychology major, I’m
very qualified to uphold management positions, also a very fast learner who knows how to follow
instructions of a team as well as give instructions to better the company and each other.
