Managed equipment maintenance and parts purchasing department in support of

aggregate processing, asphalt paving and ready mix concrete operations in

northern and western CO. Managed the activities of 8 technicians and 3

clerical staff. Responsible for approximately $5.5M in purchase orders

annually, approximatly $500K in parts inventory.

. Led the Lafarge North America repair parts procurement and inventroy

control pilot program using JD Ewards E1 software resulting in a 20%

decrease in purchase orders issued for inventroy replenishment at west US

sites.

. Major contributor in JD Edwards E1 maintenenace mangement software

implementation, conversion from TMT to E1.

. Developed and co-wrote standard operating proceedures for procurement,

Maintenance / Fabricating Shop Manager

Managed a plant & heavy mobile equipment repair, welding and fabricating

facility employing 8 - 10 welders and machinists. Including project

estimating, parts, materials purchasing, inventory management and

scheduling all activities in the shop and field within a large mining,

asphalt, ready mix concrete and paving company.

. Proved the value of in-house equipment fabrication to senior management,

grew the department from 3 employees to 10.

. Fabricated conveyors from 50' to 3K' in length, designed and fabricated

portable carriers for aggregate processing & asphalt equipment (crushing,

washing and screening components)
