Varri Green Farm/EVE Community Gardens - most recently I have
been working to create an organic children’s community farm for both Hobe
Sound residents and as a pilot program for the students at Hobe Sound
Elementary. This program is to teach kid about sustainability as well as
encouraging kids to eat a better diet.
Jonathan Dickinson State Park – worked with the Park Project
Supervisor as the volunteer coordinator, creating a monthly newsletter,
assisting with educational classes, conducting tours at the new education
center, handling all marketing and outreach programs. Currently I work as
volunteer support at the various events that Jonathan Dickinson State Park
holds yearly.
Oceanographic Society – served as a committee member in charge of
fundraising for the yearly Swashbuckler event.
City of Hope – served as a committee member in charge of donations
and celebrity involvement in Milwaukee Wisconsin and raised money for the
organization through an aerobic class fundraiser at a variety of events.
Social Action Committee at the Unitarian Universalist Church –
responsible for writing the local government on various social issues such as
healthcare, Darfur, and environmental issues.
