am available. I have experience in many areas. I am computer literate,

transportation industry and as an owner of my own business. I have

. As the main biller for the local plant I was able to get loads

combined rather than have them done on an individual basis as had been

done in the past.

. I am the only person at the plant that has taken the complete

hazardous material handling course required by D.O.T. for shipping those

types of loads.

First Shift Billing, 2001 - 2009

. In this position I maintained contact with most the plant

supervisors as regarded any loads exiting the plant. I was placed on the

first shift due to my abilities to handle several things at one time. It

was my responsibility to make sure that all loads are shipped as needed

at the lowest possible cost.

. I handle the preparation of customs documents for loads to Canada.

I handled loads for shipment by UPS and FedEx.

. It is also left to me to contact dispatchers when there is a

problem with a shipment, be it the load or the driver.

. Most incoming calls that security was unsure of what to do with

were transferred to me. I usually could get the call to the proper

person in the plant.

. I use the GM Online system, Excel, Word, and Lotus.

. Handled the billing of truck loads being shipped throughout the

United States. Coordinated the pickup of outbound loads with carriers

for distribution to major buyers of the warehoused products. Worked

with computer systems that handled accounting and transportation bills.

Created load packets, manifests and carton labels as needed to insure the

shipment of the correct products and quantities. I did the follow up

with the carriers on loads ready to be shipped. I performed the daily

inventory count of the warehouses.

. Filed reports on any issues with carriers and made recommendations

for corrective action as needed.
