Consultant role to Summitt in transitioning from window covering component company to wood flooring company
manufacturing and finishing. Summitt Forest Products acquired J & W Finishing in Ontario, Ca in April of 2008. My role was to
reconfigure the existing finishing facility from custom finishing to finishing of window covering and wood flooring
manufacturing finishing plant. Company consolidated to Santa Fe Springs, Ca in April of 2009. Current position focused on
Production efficiency, coating technical support, custom samples and custom sales.
National Flooring Supply, Inc., Wilsonville, Oregon Operations Manager 4/2007 – 1/2008
Consultant to a start up company in pre finished hardwood flooring utilizing automated high speed finishing equipment. Set up
all aspects of operations.
Galleher Inc., Royal Parquet La Mirada, Ca General Manage 10/2003 – 03/2007
Manage all day to day operations of high speed wood floor finishing operation utilizing water base stains and 100% solid UV
finish. Increased productivity from $2.8 million in sales in 2003 to $5.3 million in 2006 with a 30% reduction labor cost. High
emphasis on customer service, safety, costs and productivity. Managed one facility in The Southern California area and a second
in Tijuana Mexico totaling approx 80 direct reporting. Emphasis on finishing technology, materials forecasting and scheduling.
