March 2009-Present employed by Shaw APP (Alloy Piping Products)
"Site Manager I Responsible for entire site and its operations, as well
as the machine shop, shipping/receiving, and the pipe yard. Duties
include the overseeing of all day to day operations of the site, purchasing
all material/supplies that are needed, handling all accounting for the
facility, the coordination of proper procedures to ensure all customer
orders go out on time and correctly, client notifications of any potential
delays, serving as Safety coordinator for the site and making sure all
safety rules/regulations are being followed and enforced, and handling
negotiations with various vendors. This includes the supervision of 20+
employees of various professions.
June 2008-November 2009---employed by Turner Industries at the Garyville
Marathon Refinery Expansion Project
"Material Control Coordinator/Supervisor Responsibilities included,
but were not limited to the direct supervision over the material
department, operators and the distribution crews; their procedures and
processes, as well as the planning and scheduling of the materials within
the NHT unit. This includes generating field purchase requisitions for
ordering the material/supplies, purchasing, OS&D adherence, doing material
take offs for structural steel & pipe to order material from drawings,
ISOs, and Orthos, coordinating deliveries out in the unit and strict
enforcement of all safety regulations and precautions.
November 2006-June 2008 employed by LaBarre Associates, Inc.
(commercial construction company)
"Project Manager/ Site Superintendent" responsible for all field
operations, construction activities, providing leadership and making day-to-
day decisions that are required to ensure a successful, safe and timely
project delivery and completion. Duties included: Execution of entire
construction contracts from the ground up, including: Civil, architectural,
Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. This consisted of
complete planning & scheduling of each site project, obtaining contractor
bids and issuing subcontracts, doing take offs and rough estimates, site
lay out and prep, dirt work, compaction tests, elevations, drainage,
purchasing all material needed for project, handled all accounting for
project, meetings with clients, walk thrus, assuring project was being
completed on time following schedule while overseeing the entire site and
the contractors hired. Internal Responsibilities include estimating,
purchasing, maintaining the budget, project timeliness, and adhering to
client specifications throughout the project while upholding highly
effective working relationships with architects, engineers, owners,
subcontractors, and suppliers.
