Engineering Ministries International - Intern (January 2009 - June

2010)

. Facilitated, planned, and participated in a trip to rural

Kenya with 15 engineers to design an expansion to a hospital

serving the local poor.

. Provided the finishing and closure of many ministry

projects in the developing world, including a school for the

deaf in Honduras, and multiple greenhouses in North Korea -

Colorado Springs, CO

. Designed and managed the installation of a complex water

supply system, currently providing clean, reliable water for

a newly built orphanage in rural Uganda.

. Managed a crew of 40+ Africans during nine months

constructing a youth center - Jinja, Uganda

. Became very involved in the lives of 45 orphans with

HIV/AIDS and in a slum community outside Jinja.

Southern Nuclear Operating Company - Co-op Student

. Coordinated plant-wide equipment inspections through a variety of

disciplines and people - Farley Nuclear Plant, Spring 2007

. Developed performance tracking software for use in nuclear plant

operations, resulted in an increase in production and

. Lowered the number of backlogged departmental reports by over 60%

over a five month period, Spring 2006

. Oversaw the storage and maintenance of over 400 boats, resulted
