* The Coordinator works with school districts in Dutchess and Putnam counties to develop
school-based committees that will review and update their tobacco policies. The committees,
with guidance and support from the Coordinator, also gather data, develop plans to implement
the new policies, and develop enforceable procedures and pro-active strategies with a goal of
reducing and eliminating tobacco use among the school community.
