Seeking a Client Executive/Management position that builds upon my

extensive account management, marketing and new business development

experience within the highly competitive association and affinity group

insurance arena.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Over 15 years of experience in the business of association group insurance

marketing and broker/administration. My initial experience was gained

through a privately-held TPA in the 1980s which was eventually acquired by

Marsh Affinity Group Services, a service of Seabury & Smith, Inc. My

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Vice President, Account Management

Reported directly to the head of Account Management. Client assignments

included military, professional and union groups.

. Responsible for over $6 million dollars in annual revenue.

. Responsible for DC office annual budget of $1 million dollars.

. Performed the duties necessary to develop and manage relationships

between the company, clients and carriers, and served as the company's

primary representative to the client and carrier, and as their

spokesperson within the company.

. Collaborated with the head of Account Management to develop goals and

account management plans consistent with and in support of the overall

corporate goals/objectives: client retention, budget implementation,

overall account management and renewals.

. Performed a variety of activities in furtherance of the company's main

objectives - revenue production, client retention, account maintenance

and client relationships.

. Primary contact to conduct all aspects of business with the clients,

operations, vendors and insurance companies.

. Directly responsible for overall client retention, renewal activities,

budget implementation and day-to-day account management.

. Additional responsibilities included maintenance of expert knowledge

of clients and insurance industry trends.

1997-2000 The Institute for Studies in Aging & Geriatric Medicine

Program Director

Duties included daily management of the conceptualization, development and

implementation of all Institute programs. Responsibilities ranged from

office management to policy development and project initiatives.

. Worked as a liaison with representatives of government, foundations,

scientific societies, corporations, the media and the public.

. Worked directly with the Resident Physician to design programs, plan

strategies, mobilize resources, oversee logistics and supervise a

staff of four.
