EXPERIENCE:
IBR Plasma Center - Florence, Alabama 09/15/09 - Present
Center Manager - Supervise two assistant managers along with 32 staff
members, two quality assurance supervisors, and training coordinator in the
plasmapheresis manufacturing process. Responsibilities include budgeting,
projections, hiring of all positions, working with medical director to
assure that compliance and safety are maintained; adherence to SOP as
determined by IBR and FDA; quality assurance of plasma, maintaining of
freezer records and temperature controls, as well as all lab equipment
related to donor screening; FIFO adherence relating to all soft goods and
medical supplies; managing of FDA and OSHA audits as they occur; planning
promotions to accelerate donations; managing all aspects of customer
service training and management; supervise all facility related
maintenance.
Cherokee Ridge Country Club - Union Grove, Alabama 04/16/05 - 06-12-09
Club Manager - 11/05/07 - 06/12/09. Supervised eight managers (Golf
Superintendent, Executive Chef, Dining Room Manager, Administrative,
Housekeeping, Maintenance, Pool & Tennis Supervisor, Golf Pro): worked
closely with Cherokee Ridge elected membership committees, Board of
Directors, and Club owner to assure and maintain membership standards for
all aspects of member services; attended monthly Board Meetings, reporting
inventories, costs, expenses, overruns, member applications, and other
pertinent information as required; liaison between Property Owners'
Association and Club owners; managed seven room Lake House on the property;
oversaw repairs and maintenance for entire campus as well as residential
community; responsible for defibulator training and first aid.
Club House Manager - 08/15/06 -11/05/07. Promoted to this position to
oversee golf shop, maintenance, golf service standards, and member
relations; supervised four managers (Golf Pro, Maintenance Supervisor,
Executive Chef, Dining Room Supervisor).
Dining Room Manager - 04/16/05 -08/15/06. Responsible for sanitation,
hiring, terminations, Health Department standards, training, menus,
maintenance, and inventories.
Carlton Cove Retirement Community - Huntsville, Alabama 02/02/04 - 04/10/05
Manager. Responsible for scheduling of 26 people, supervision of four
managers, inventory, food costs, liquor costs, special lounge events,
catering sanitation, and maintaining all Health Department issues.
Adtran (Christine's Corporate Catering) - Huntsville, Alabama 2000 -
012/2003
Contract Owner. Provided food service in two cafeterias for 1,800 Adtran
employees plus catering throughout two large buildings. Duties included
monthly budget of $45,000, maintained sales of $1.2 million annually, all
hiring, supervision of four general managers and 28 general employees,
Health Department regulations (score of 90 or above maintained throughout
tenure), dietary formatting, member of Safety Committee which included
monthly inspections and training.
Adtran - Rocket City Foods - Huntsville, Alabama 1998 - 2000
General Manager. Duties were as described above for Christine's Corporate
Catering. Rocket City Foods was Adtran's previous contractor and I was
employed directly by Rocket City Foods. When Rocket City Foods cancelled
their contract with Adtran, I was asked by Adtran to continue a food
service under my own contract.
The Mill Bakery & Eatery - Huntsville, Alabama 1990 - 1998
Assistant General Manager. Developed manager and crew training; managed
catering services, coffee house, and cigar bar. Catering services included
the 1997 Cherokee Ridge Pro Nike Tour for 30,000 plus attendees. This
included sponsor tents, concessions, and main club house tents.
Huntsville Marriot - Huntsville, Alabama 1987 - 1990
Manager. Waited tables and bartended; promoted to manager over two
restaurants which included room service. Completed Service Number One
training courses, along with Marriott Service Art and Four Star Dining;
trained in table-side flamb , Caesar salads, etc.
Huntsville Hilton - Huntsville, Alabama 1980 - 1987
Started as bus boy at age 16, promoted to waiter, bartender, manager, and
assistant food and beverage manager during my tenure; completed Priority
One courses.
