Objectives
My objective is to find a job that challenges me to expand my
knowledge and experience. I would like to get back into architectural
drafting as that is the area I enjoy the most but I am willing to do civil
drafting as well since that is where most of my 25+ years of experience is.

Sectional maps, aerial photography and as-built survey information.
. Supervised multiple drafters.
. Process data from survey data collectors using Carlson software and
put the data into Autocad drawings.
. Calculate staking points in Autocad for construction staking.

Service High School in Anchorage, Alaska from 1974 to 1978.
9 months Architectural instruction at L.H. Bates Vocational-Technical
in Tacoma, Washington Nov. 1978 thru July 1979
I am current through 2005 with Building Codes and Building
construction knowledge through my job with the State of Alaska doing plans
for Snow Removal Equipment Buildings and Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting
buildings. I have also done multiple residential home designs and several
commercial designs for myself and others. The commercial buildings were
stamped by licensed engineers and architects with little need for revision.

I have kept current with FAA Airport Design Advisory Circulars and
with FAA FAR Part 77 for airport design.
I have kept current with Federal Highway Administration Manual of
Uniform Traffic Control Devices with the supplementals for the states of
Washington and Oregon.
I grew up around residential and commercial construction as my father
was a general contractor of 40 years and I did spend free time working with
him.
