Chief Financial Officer 1992-2008

Responsibilities as CFO extended to 10 affiliated companies, both foreign and domestic, and 5 divisions for

financial and administrative matters.

• Formulated financial plans and policy ensuring that goals were measured, assets safeguarded and

accurate financial reporting assured.

• Analyzed and interpreted fiscal trends, enabling cost reduction and proper utilization of assets.

Developed and maintained short/long term planning and budgeting - $80 million annually.

Performed corporate banking and investment functions (foreign and domestic) - $52 million in lines of credit

and foreign exchange.

Developed tax planning to minimize taxes by allocating income, assets and expenses to various states with

lower or zero income tax rates, and by use of various entity structures.

• Updated all IT systems (ERP, ACS and Harris Data Systems) to leverage latest technology.

Forecast and managed cash flow against critical cash needs (i.e., payroll, accounts payable, debt service etc).

Responsibilities extended to 4 affiliated companies.

• Coordinated all necessary risk assessment tasks to recreate accounting and financial records lost in

a fire, which allowed the company to pass an audit in 5 months.

• Created a company-wide Safety Committee, resulting in lowering insurance costs by 58%. The

success of this committee earned A&H certification from the State of Pennsylvania and continued

insurance savings totaling $300K, while employee headcount doubled.

Created the Accounting/Finance (and related) departments.

Created first-ever company physical inventory system and procedures that yielded accurate reporting as well as

“Certified” financial statements.

Established Credit/Collection policies, procedures and department thereby reducing “bad debt experience”
