community development in a ten-county region. Responsible for three federally-funded VISTA projects and
the volunteers assigned to each of the three initiatives. Responsible for substantial increases in funding,
staffing, initiation of projects, program partnerships, events, and public awareness of the work and objectives
of the Foundation. Successful grant writing secured public funding of foundation initiatives.
Wright County Industrial Development Authority (January 2006 – June 2008)
Executive Director - Wright County I.D.A.; Hartville, Missouri
Managed implementation and administration of all projects and activities of this quasi-public agency, focused
on economic development and community development throughout Wright County. Trained in economic
development best practices. Managed all aspects of financial and operational structure. Documented success
in planning, establishing, and completing initiatives focused on economic growth and development.
