Newco Distributors, Inc.: Chief Operations Officer
12/05 - Present Day
Rancho Cucamonga, California ~ $143,008
I report directly to the CEO and am responsible for running day-to-day
wholesale distribution center(s) operations. I work with the executive
team to execute a business plan that creates sustainable growth in a highly
competitive saturated market. Organically founded, strategized and
launched a profitable new business unit Scooble.com utilizing social
networking blitz, web 2.0 and a blue ocean strategy that concentrated on
industry public relations and marketing campaigns due to existing industry
shortfalls. My aim was to not to just out-perform the competition in the
existing forty six (46) billion dollar animal feed and supply industry, but
to create new market space, thereby making the competition irrelevant.
Defeated a $270 Million Dollar Teamsters Union siege within (3) weeks of
learning about it and more than 1/3 card signatures with no NLRB Sanctions
utilizing a divide and conquer strategy.
. Founder, strategist, and Chief Operating Officer for Scooble.com.
. Managed and executed all Scooble business which included:
o Entire rollout, from inception to launch day took six (6)
months. The development of Scooble and the Teamsters Union siege
occurred at the same time. Neither of these two diametric
fronts staggered my overall progress with ongoing projects, both
fronts had plans that were executed flawlessly and both resulted
in victories.
o Marketing activities, conventions, public relations, campaign
materials, publications, goodwill donations, pricing,
collections, weekly sales meetings, community events, human
resources, outsourced call center, logos & art concepts, coined
tagline (the ultimate pet experience), fielded complaint calls,
designed launch party, attained 877 number (877-Scooble),
conducted in person sales calls, self conducted 700 out of 900
person in store consumer survey that spanned six (6) counties
and two (2) states, and built a two year business plan.
Collected twenty four (24) vendor surveys were conducted at
tradeshow to build in pricing for vendor alliances.
o Developed and managed all billboard, radio (talent), internet,
TV, and website advertising while leveraging web 2.0 strategy.
Initial advertising costs were $210,000 more than what was paid
for, reduced costs through rigorous negotiation.
o Coined the name and handled all legal dealings with the Scooble
trademark, which included developing the iron clad 19
international classes and creating the Scooble name that was
solidified by meeting twenty four (24) different business and
trademark criteria's. Scooble = Hybrid of Scoop & Kibble, both
words pet industry related.
o Scooble Blue Ocean Strategy included SWOT, Porters, and PEST
analysis coupled with 900 person consumer and 16 company vendor
surveys. This built statistics that hardened the executable
business strategy.
o Scooble opened a new revenue stream that is currently
contributing 10% of overall company profits.
