coal miner husband who needs waited on hand and foot; household

chores(cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes); going to classes to get my GED; and

managing my own business, first as a PartyLite Consultant, now as a Slumber

Parties Consultant. Obviously, I am a multi tasker, and I know this is a valuable

skill in the work force.

Position: Customer Service Representative.

Duties included: Answering phones, scheduling deliveries/pick ups, dispatching to drivers, calling

customers to verify information or re schedule deliveries, copying and filing documents and driver logs,

and data entry.

However, I was living in Mt. Pulaski, IL, at the time and could not find reliable child care there, so they

fired me on May 25th 2010. But, I live in Lincoln, IL, now and I am surrounded by family who will take

good care of my children so I can go to work.

Position: Slumber Parties Consultant

Duties include: Marketing and advertising my business; calling customers and potential customers to

schedule parties, product deliveries, and/or to discuss product issues; party planning and promoting and

demonstrating Slumber Parties products at the parties; and of course; all the budgeting, inventory/stock,

and financial planning that comes along with owning a business.

I am still doing this, but it is not currently enough income.

2003 2006: I was a bartender and worked at a few different bars(depending on who would pay me more

or give me more hours) here in Lincoln, Illinois, over the course of 2 years. Those bars included:

Flounder's(now under new ownership and called "Rumors"), Copone's(which went out of business), and

the Elk's Country Club.

Education Goals:

Starting next year, I will be going to college to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design at The

Illinois Institute of Art. I also plan to get a Master's Degree in Business Management and Finances
