Title: PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) Manager and IT duties (entry level).
. Communication between US Customers and China Team members related to
initiation of orders for fabrication of PCBs. I performed verification
of Customer Gerber file packages done on a CAD CAM station. Based on
IPC standards, revision and verification of Gerber's file packages
from the STACI China Team and secured Customer approvals, prior to
production. Main contact of US Customers to resolve drawing and
fabrication specification issues, questions, etc.
. I was the first responder on quality issues resulting from
manufacturing. My duties included notification to the STACI China
Team, and I was responsible of the Company Score levels as a result of
quality issues, produced by the factories. Consequently, I worked with
the STACI China Team to obtain and verify appropriate Corrective
Actions (at Customer's sites within the US). I did the verification
and sorting of product for some time during my tenure, prior to having
arranged this task to third party sorting. If the magnitude of the
issue required it so and in accordance with ISO-9001 practices, I
traveled to the factories for audit visits (in China). All factories
in China were ISO-9000 and ISO-9001 certified.
. I saved the Company thousands of dollars from 2005-2008 by helping to
resolve all common computer and network issues for entire Office
staff, leaving the more complex and time consuming of issues to a
contracted external IT technician. During this period, I assisted the
Chicago Office IT issues remotely in many cases and received their
computers via courier to work on, in other cases.
. Last year of work was done from home, as the Central Office moved to
Gurnee, IL. Main duties were performed via phone and computer,
including providing IT assistance to the Illinois Office personnel via
phone or providing remote help.
