My position as a Design Consultant involved customer service and project
management. I assisted customers in making flooring choices based on their
design preferences, dwelling specifications, and budget restrictions. I
then oversaw the installation of the material and worked with the customer
through completion of the project to ensure their satisfaction.
Administrative Assistant to the Associate Graduate Dean,

As Administrative Assistant to the Associate Graduate Dean I managed the
day to day activities of the office and coordinated the Dean's schedule. I
handled interoffice and external communication and planned events hosted by
our office. I also oversaw and maintained the adjunct faculty member files
necessary to fulfill the Seminary's academic accreditation.

My responsibilities included clerical duties as they relate to a wholesale
importing business: managing customer accounts, customer service, and
shipping and receiving duties.
Testing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant,
New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminary; New Orleans, LA - 2006-2008
My position included the dual roles of Testing Coordinator and
Administrative Assistant. As Testing Coordinator I was responsible for
administering and scoring psychometric tests and entrance exams to students
and applicants to the Seminary. As Administrative Assistant my
responsibilities included keeping a calendar of counseling appointments and
receiving counseling clients, interoffice and external communication with
applicants, students, and testing and counseling agencies, as well as
maintaining an organized office.
Teacher, Jefferson Parish Public Schools (Marrero Middle School); Marrero,
LA - 2005
As a cohort in the 2005-06 Teach Greater New Orleans class at the
University of New Orleans, I taught science to 6th and 7th grade students.
I was unable to complete this program and the coursework necessary to
obtain my teaching certificate due to Hurricane Katrina and the fact that I
was unable to immediately return to New Orleans following the storm.

I have experience working in both an office, classroom, and sales setting.
My computer skills include typing 45+ WPM, operating the Microsoft Office
Suite including Outlook, emailing, and online research. I have volunteered
with rape victims at the Rape Crisis Center of Mobile (2004-05) and, as the
wife of a pastor, have had experience working with people in a variety of
other capacities in both the private and public sector.
