Role: Lead IT Project Manager (Program Manager)
. Managing project teams of 50-250 globally located resources with a
budget of $100 million over 2.5 years from the planning to
implementation phase for the GSA Networx contract at Qwest.
Networx is the largest communications services contract in the
world, to provide innovative voice, data and video services to the
agencies in the General Services Administration (GSA) which
includes NASA, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and
the FCC to name a few.
. Also managing 3 other highly visible programs with 10 project
releases over the course of two years. Helped achieve CMMi level
3 compliance on these programs through the implementation of new
processes and procedures.
. Major responsibilities include managing scope, time, and quality
at a program and project level while maintaining good
communication across the large project team. I have also spent a
lot of time managing stakeholder requests while also managing the
large budgets of these programs.
TransUnion Rental Screening Solutions - Greenwood Village, Colorado
(March 2004 - November 2007)
Role: Senior Project Consultant
. Managed project teams located in the US and India from the
planning to implementation phases of software development projects
for current and new products at TransUnion.
. Primarily responsible for managing quarterly software releases of
updated functionality and bug fixes to the CreditRetriever product
that generated approximately $15 million in revenue a year. This
product caters to the multi-family housing industry and performs a
variety of functions including credit, criminal, and evictions
background checks on prospective tenants before move-in.
. Managed the design and development of new products including:
SmartMove (co-inventor), RentBridge, Online Lease, and National
Criminal Search.
. Responsible for performing team evaluations, managing scope
through steering committee meetings, mentoring and coaching team
members, and working with internal and external stakeholders to
assure that a quality product that met expectations was delivered.

Role: Sr. Systems Analyst and Project Coordinator
. Managed a team of 7 developers in the design and
implementation of a $1 million Environmental Management
application for the IEPA. This application consists of 10
modules that support the business practices of over 500
employees at the IEPA.
. Collected user requirements, designed the Oracle database and
application, wrote system technical and user documentation,
trained 80 users on the application, and worked with the
client to implement the application into production.
. Gave presentations throughout the life of the project to
update users and management on the overall functionality of
the application, managed the development workload of all
members of the team, created deliverables schedules,
identified and resolved issues internally and with the
client, and resolved design and functionality questions.
Southern California Air Quality Management District - Diamond Bar,
CA (April 2003 - February 2004)
Role: Sr. Business/Systems Analyst and Project Manager
. Managed deliverables and drafted detailed design documents
for the conversion of SCAQMD's billing system that is
responsible for billing all air facilities in Southern
California for their monthly fees.
