Professional/Career Objective:
My international legal education from EU and US institutions, and
working experience as a Chinese judge and licensed lawyer, has given me
rich experience in Chinese legal practices and exposure to an
international legal practice. My objective is to continue deepening my
Chinese law expertise and further my interaction between different legal
jurisdictions through present and future affiliations with firms or
working for a multinational company. Clients will receive unique and
targeted counsel.

As a court clerk and then a judge, I have worked for a Chinese district
court for about 8 years in different court divisions, including civil,
economic, real estate and criminal Division, judgment enforcement
division as well as research department. I have been awarded honors by
the court and government for my research works and judicial reports, some
of which are listed below. Due to this experience, I am one of a very few
private legal practitioners in China who have both judicial and private
legal practice backgrounds.

For the past 7 years I have worked for several leading firms in Guangzhou
(used to call Canton), which is located in the south of China, near Hong
Kong and has long history as a commodity trading centre in China. There I
have accumulated experience in private legal practice and developed my
own client base. My practice areas primarily involve FDI, corporation,
M&A, reorganization, assets transfer, company winding-up, liquidation and
bankruptcy, business consulting, intellectual property rights, the land
or property, labor issues, international business transaction, sports
law, etc. Though my practice areas are general, but inter alia, my
services are more "foreign-oriented", because I more focus on my services
to "foreign-related" businesses.
Foreign Study Experience
In 2002, I completed an international public law LLM program in the EU,
and in this May, 2010, I just finished my second LLM program -
International & Comparative law program study at the University of Iowa.
These two study experiences give me more understandings of both European
and American culture and legal system.

company applying for recognization and enforcement foreign arbitral

. Advised a Japanese company in acquiring a Guangzhou air conditioner
manufacturing company;

relating to the property transfer fraud;
