routing consolidating multiple facilities product delivery requirements

development of warehouse expansion plans. Calculated improved

introduced an ordering process to plan and schedule inbound commodity

Safety Engineering & Training: Monitored daily production activities and
assessed root causes for potential injuries. Compiled complete training
manuals establishing best practices for all to follow. Result:

Asset Management Safety Engineering & Training: Created a safety
assessment database and site survey process for each of our customer's
delivery points to better assess critical safety hazards and eliminate
potential equipment damage. Result: Eliminated potential trailer
damage from previous years with a savings of over $100,000.
New Product Introduction Designed marketing campaign for a new line of
products. Campaign included mass mailers, large print posters, and
internet advertisements. Result: Completing the designs myself resulted
in a savings of approximately $10,000 in advertising agency costs.
Asset Management Negotiated and contracted the purchase of a used
capital asset for $5,000, saving the company $89,000 on the purchase of
a new one. Result: After 3 years of use and completely depreciating
the asset, I spearheaded its sale for $24,000.

Logistics Operations Leadership: Launched and managed the start-up of
four high risk logistics operations with multiple locations. Analyzed
former provider's data to seek out efficiencies. Result: Successful
transition with total initial asset savings of over $600,000; Redesigned
route schemes and slip seat options increasing backhaul revenues by over
$250,000 annually.
Employee Training & Coaching Developed standardized hiring process and
job specific questionnaires to better ascertain a potential employee's
ability to complete his or her task before realizing the initial cost of
hiring and training. Result: Reduction of turnover by 75% and saved an
estimated $40,000 in hiring and training costs. These improved turnover
numbers also earned me the 2009 employee dedication award.
P&L Responsibility: Analyzed break even points to determine the
profitability of external and internal backhauls. Loads above our
breakeven points were outsourced to other carriers. Result: Saving

Financial Reporting: Designed a reporting program for key performance
