PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

IFH FOOD SERVICE Florence, S.C. 2007 to 2009

Sales Trainer/ COP Specialist- administered all basic training for new

sales hires and advanced training for existing reps. Charged with the task

of selling and marketing the center of the plate proteins with $58 million

dollars in annual sales budget, which was on plan. Created and implemented

all training associated with COP categories, Produce and Equipment and

Supply program.

. Took new Fresh Cut Steak program to $1.75 million dollars the first

year

. Initiated the stocking of numerous new COP and Produce items and

worked with our "Broker" community to procure deals and special

pricing for our larger customers

. Maintained a 92% retention rate on all new hire sales reps, trained 48

new hire reps and also administered all on-going training for

experienced sales reps. and District Sales Managers.

. Totally revamped the new rep training program and added numerous new

sessions including- Foodservice Math, Restaurant Profitability, A Day

in the Life of a DSR, etc.

. Initiated and authored a new "Business Review" process for our larger

customers and increased sales to them by an average of 12%

. Food Shows- set up Fresh Cut Steak Booth and Produce Booth for

numerous shows

. Conducted "Customer Seminars" on food cost control at food shows

. Certified SERVSAFE Instructor/ Proctor

. Designed and redesigned 40 + customer menus using menu engineering,

food cost modules and Menu Pro program.

PFG FOODSERVICE Richmond, Virginia 2005 to 2007

District Sales Manager Sales Trainer/Brand Specialist-

. Responsible for 8 sales reps in a geographically large market. We led

the company in opening new accounts for 4 months in a row we were12%

ahead of sales budget.

. Sales Trainer/ Brand Manager Position, maintained a 90% retention

rate on all new hires (15 new reps), and maintained a 45% brand sales

penetration rate.

SYSCO FOODSERVICE Harrisonburg, Virginia 1993 to 2005

E/S, Chemical Specialist, Fresh Seafood/Produce Specialist and Value Added

Services Specialist.

. Authored our first "In Stock" Kitchen Supply Catalog and through

increased our sales in this category by 34%. The cost of this catalog

was funded 150%.

. Marketed, installed and trained customers on our in house "RIO"

inventory system.

. Initiated the launch of a Fresh Cut Fish program and took those sales

to over $1.2 million dollars in 15 months

. Worked extensively with our Food and E/S Brokers to secure deals,

special pricing and set up numerous promotions to help increase sales.

Most successful promotion was called "Tools of the Trade" which was an

E/S, Chemical and Disposable program that included samples of all of

these categories once a month for 12 months. Our overall increases

were in E/S 24%, Chemicals 19% and Disposables 22%.
