Served on two simultaneous projects with a steel manufacturer: (1)
Systems Analyst implementing the Oracle OBIEE product. Responsibly
for analyzing data in the legacy systems in order to harvest legacy
data (inventory, sales order and shipment), to map the data into the
OPM data model, and to design and program (SQLplus) use of OPM-Link
transactions to migrate the data into OPM in preparation for migration
into OBIEE. (2) Lead Analyst in a project to implement the entire
Oracle 12i Oracle eBusiness Suite in order to retire the aged legacy
(mainframe) systems. Responsible for setting up boundaries of OPM
modules to be installed, mapping legacy systems to be analyzed for
replacement and developing preliminary project plan for a 5 year multi-
phased project. Particular attention was paid to use of OPM's Quality
module to manage attributes of steel coils as they progressed thr0ugh
