Processing Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Supervised 25 employees on a daily base. In a month time, my shift

production had improved by 70%. Reduced the employee’s attendance problem along with

improved the morale. Ensured that maintenance and repairs on the machines were being performed

as required.

Quality Control – Inspected all finish product to ensure that the products were acceptable to be sold to

our clients.

Transportation Coordinator- ensured that all shipments (air and freight) were being shipped to the

correct locations all throughout the world.

Trainer- Trained all employees on new methods.

Quality Control – Inspected all of the produce trailers prior to them leaving the

dock and that improved the customer satisfactory rate.

Inventory- Inventoried products within the warehouse on a daily bases along with research items which

could not be located by other employees and that improved the customer satisfactory rate along with

reducing the out of stock

Processing Supervisor (2nd Shift) - Supervised 25 employees on a daily base. In less than one month,

my section production had improved by 70%. My section had the highest production percentage

within the department. Received recognition and award from The Vice President of Manufacturing

for a job well done!

Developer- Developed and implementation of employee’s suggestion program along

with developing an incentive program which for the company, which saved the

company an estimate of $250,000.00 on yearly bases.

Assistant Plant Manager- Supervised 45 employees on a daily base. In less than ninety days, in the

company, the production department went from being three days behind schedule to four days ahead

of schedule. Which surpassed The General Manager’s goal of being three days ahead. Reduced the

employee’s attendance problem that company was having by 65% along with increasing the

production of the department by 75%.

Interviewer- Interviewed all potential employees and I had developed and implemented better

interviewing methods, which was adopted by other departments within the company. This new

method saved the company a large amount of monies and time.

Newport News Inc. (Catalog Mail Order) Distribution Center, Newport News,

VA 23661

1999 to 2002

Operational Supervisor for Returns Pack- Supervised 30 associates on a daily

base. In less than six months, in that position, the group performance percentage

had increased by 35%. The Primary Sort Group performance percentage had

increased by 10%. The Secondary Sort Group performance percentage had

increased by 52.

Department Safety Officer- I was tasked to bring the department safety program up to standard. Not

only did I bring it up to standard, I was award the monthly safety award three times in less than

seven months.

Operational Supervisor for Picking- Scheduled and improved vacation request for 82 associates.

The associates who worked for me had the highest performance percentage and

the lowest error rate percentage in the entire department.

Training Supervisor- Developed a retraining program for associates who had

experienced problems with picking errors and /or not picking the items in a timely

manner. The program was such a success that I was given the entire training

program for the department.

1990 to 1999

Paint Department Manager (Corporate Store) - Revamped the entire paint and other departments to make

them more customers friendly. Determined the best locations for items that were to be placed on sale.

Lecturer- Planned, organized and conducted classes for old and new employees and customers on a regular

basis.

Cost Analysts – Conducted a very intense cost analysis was conducted by me, which resulted in a decreased

amount of excess supplies and a decreased amount of out of stock of supplies and equipment.

Order- Order supplies and equipment for the department on a biweekly bases along as well as special orders

for customers on a regular basis.

Scheduler – Prepared work schedule of the associates on a biweekly basis.

United States Army Kaiserslautern, Germany 1987 to 1990

Battalion Supply Officer-Revamped the Battalion’s Supply, Maintenance, Budgeting, and Contracting

policies and procedures.

Lecturer- Planned, organized and conducted battalion level workshops for the units that were assigned to my

battalion and whenever those units were inspected by higher sources, they never received an inspection

result less than commendable rating during my two year tenure as the Battalion Supply Officer. Cross-

trained all personnel within two different branches to ensure that the tasks were performed properly and

within a timely manner.

Transportation Officer- planned all the movements of equipment, supplies and personnel for the battalion

and during that time the battalion never had any problems or ever lost any equipment or ran out of fuel.

Inspector- inspected every unit within the Battalion on a quarterly basis to ensure that they were performing

their tasks in accordance with the Battalion policies and procedures.

Coordinator redistributed over $100 million dollars worth of supplies and equipment all throughout Europe,

which resulted in a reduced amount of shortages and excess of supplies and equipment.

Evaluator- The supply procedure of reserve units during the largest Return to Force to Germany Exercise in

the Army’s history.

United States Army Uijonbu, Korea

1985 to 1986

Warehouse Manager- reorganized two warehouses, which resulted in a better service for the soldiers and

eliminated double and triple locations for the same item. Revamped the only tire point in Korea along

with revamped one of the two salvage yards in Korea, which eliminated pilferage from the yard.

Organizer- planned all monthly cycles and inventories for my technical supply, which resulted in my

technical supply having the highest customer satisfactory, and fills rate percentage and the lowest out of

stock percentage within the battalion. The performance resulted in awards being presented to my

technical supply from the Commanding General and the Battalion Commander.

United States Army Ft. Lee, Virginia 1984 to 1985

Supply Officer-planned and organized supplies and equipment for the very first field training exercise for

Advanced Individual Training soldiers assigned to the training brigade.

Organizer-planned the daily schedule for the key members on The Army’s Logistical Exercise Team.

Pay Officer-responsible for a payroll, which exceeded $90,000.00 on a monthly basis.

Tax Officer- performed tax returns for 355 soldiers on a regular basis.

Counselor- for the soldiers who were assigned to my units and also discharge soldiers who were not

performing their job in accordance with the company’s policies.

Training Officer- Planned and organized various training classes for over 350 soldiers assigned to the

Company.
