. Created China sales growth strategy and successfully executed by
exploring diverse markets. Expanded customer base by over 50% annually in
an effort to build pipelines for future growth. Most of the new accounts
had higher requirements for steels but volume wasn't large enough to
attract local competitors. Sales were doubled within two years.

Responsible for strategic planning of heat treatment operations for 9
plants, including plants in Mexico and China. Provide support to marketing,
engineering and quality assurance in business development, customer service
and operational excellence initiatives and assistance to procurement in
sourcing and cost reduction initiatives.
. Developed effective global steel sourcing strategy by leading a cross-
functional team in addressing sourcing quality risks. Established
component-based steel supplier selection criteria and supplier
qualification procedures, upgraded internal steel quality control systems
and mapped out potential global steel suppliers.
. Created and executed short-term and long-term action plan based upon
extensive gap analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each plant's
heat treat operation. Drove operational synergies in acquired EPT

cause analysis and taking corrective actions.
