the construction and start up of a General Electric

(GE) LM6000 Power Plant. Maintained, updated, and

administered the site HSE documents to ensure

compliance with Kuwait Ministry, GE corporate and

U.S. OSHA requirements.

Implemented Health, Safety and Environmental

Management System at the site. Lead personnel

injury and environmental excursion investigation

activities, including root cause analysis and

incident communications. Coordinated all industrial

hygienist requirements; evaluated environmental

factors in chemical, physical, biological and

ergonomic areas. Provided necessary assistance and

advice to Site Management on matters pertaining to

safety, health, and fire protection. Established,

reviewed and updated environmental, health and

safety programs as necessary. Conducted safety

related training programs for all employees.

maintained employee awareness in health and safety

military camps in Kuwait, along with conducting

chemical analysis and documentation used in closing

of three camps. Prepared and direct the preparation

of technical reports.

Oversaw U.S regulated environmental compliance

programs including hazardous materials/waste,

bio-hazardous waste, waste water, sludge,

contaminated soil, environmental training,

reporting and permitting. Participated in emergency

response and spill teams; interpreted regulations

and maintained records related to compliance and

completed regulatory reports and program

documentation.
