P&L responsibility for $100M General Merchandise division of
1.5 billion dollar cooperative. Business operated out of a
250,000 square foot facility with 150 employees, servicing
over 1000 stores in 14 states. Customers included: Walgreens,
Duane Reade, Bed Bath & Beyond and Linens 'n Things.
. Responsible for sales, marketing, purchasing, merchandising,
warehousing, and distribution.
. Successfully recouped $32M sales loss due to departure
of two largest Co-op members; achieved by increasing
incremental sales volume with new trade classes and
categories.
. Consistently exceeded service level goals on 15,000
skus. Met or exceeded inventory turn and gross profit
