The AMNO Document Management System provides document management and

automated workflow capabilities to support the DHL Global Forwarding

management and processing of shipments (for Domestic, Air, Ocean, Northern

Border, Southern Border, Canadian, Customs Brokerage(CHB) and

International). Four technologies are provided by the system: document

management, automated workflow, print stream capture, and paper document

capture.

Document management includes the ability to store, manage, search for,

retrieve, and view electronic documents from a secure repository.

Automated workflow enforces standard processing steps, automatically routes

work items to be processed, alerts users and supervisors of important

conditions or events, and tracks the movement of an item of work from

inception to completion. Print stream capture, or COLD, converts standard

print output from legacy processing systems into image files and associated

data for uploading into the document repository. Paper document capture

digitizes hardcopy documents to create electronic image files, typically

This application has two modules, an external web submission module and an

regional and central offices for approval. Workflow and Management reports

are generated using Process Analyzer.

ADR Recognition module captures barcodes on patient and prescriber

documents and Completion module validates submitted information. ADR

Scripted export is used to export form data to external oracle tables along

with FileNet GUID.

Public School Retirement System for Missouri

The Missouri Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems

maintains and manages all aspects of their two retirement systems, PSRS -

Public School Retirement System for certified teachers and PEERS - Public

Education Employee Retirement System for non-certified employees.

PSRS/PEERS will be replacing the retirement applications on their AS400

with Levi, Ray, and Shoup's PensionGold PE product. This product will

incorporate a workflow solution. The Global 360 document management

application will be replaced with FileNet's Content Manager. However,

PensionGold PE will not be implemented until several months after the

implementation of the FileNet Content Manager. AgilePoint will be used to

implement workflow. FileNet Content Manager required functionality as well

as the AgilePoint workflows must be developed before the Global 360 system

can be decommissioned.

EDMS System for Los Angeles Unified School District

Los Angeles Unified School District selected FileNet as its platform for

all enterprise electronic content management (ECM). The EDMS solution has

internally as "the Vault". Users can search the imported documents using a

custom search application. The second module is an online Invoice and

Change Order processing application. FileNet Workflows are used to handle

business process and approvals.

Reporting and Fee Collection System for Department of Environmental

Protection

The EDMS/ECM System automates many of the activities that are currently

performed manually at DEP. The system provides both the means of

electronically storing documents so that they may be easily retrieved, and

a method for controlling and monitoring the flow of Invoices. This system

is comprised of four distinct workflows Hazardous Waste Manifests,

Hazardous Waste Continuation Sheets, Quarterly Reports, and Biennial

Reports.

Collateral Tracking System (CTRAC) for South Trust Bank

The CTRAC system is a .NET web based application that manages the process

of tracking collateral documents associated with loans booked in various

loan systems at SouthTrust bank. The system will maintain a list of

documents associated with a particular loan, provide workflow for

identifying and tracking document exceptions, and facilitate the process of

releasing documents once a loan has been paid off.

The CTRAC workflow component consists of workflow queues responsible for

housing work items during the processing life cycle, workflow maps, which

provide the set of workflow instructions and data for each workflow, and

workflow groups that provide security access for the workflow queues. An

external database server houses the database storing data for loans,

collateral, documents, and exceptions. It also maintains configuration

tables and a dedicated reporting database for the main CTRAC application.

Data is transferred to this database via MS SQL Server functions from both

the CTRAC database and the eProcess event log database. The data in this

reports database server provides material for reporting supervisory,

productivity and exception reports.

workflow, technical documents management, etc. and is interfaced with SAP

Marketing Document Management System for Sunoco

With the goal of increasing processing tracking and efficiency, the

Marketing Department of Sunoco implemented a document management and

workflow solution based on the Content Services, Capture, and eProcess

products from FileNet Corporation. These products provide the baseline

secure electronic storage and versioning, scanning and indexing of paper

documents, and automated workflow functionality, respectively.

Currently, significant personnel time is spent creating the documents that

support the Marketing Department's processing. An automated document

assembly facility that will increase the efficiency of this document

creation process is also being deployed as part of the project. This will

allow users to create document sets in a standard way, with variable data

provided through data entry and automated access to an external database as

appropriate. Typically, once a document set is created, it will be stored

in the Content Services repository and subsequently accessed to support

processing steps later in the workflow.

Integrated Imaging System for Conectiv

The primary objectives of this application, is to allow for the scanning of

invoices so that they can be viewed as electronic images within the SAP

current process to become "image enabled", Conectiv seeks to reduce the

number of FTE's involved in the daily review cycle of these invoices, as

well as to help streamline the existing process making it more efficient.

The new business processes developed provide the following functional

capabilities.

. Remote capture via Facsimile (Fax) of LOB Invoices and some expense

. Customized, automatic indexing of invoices, for distribution purposes,

allow Pitt-Ohio personnel to determine the status of an individual request

M&T Bank

COMPASS System is an Intranet-based application that will support the sales

creation, queue management, work retrieval, work monitoring and tracking,

automated email notification, and status reporting capabilities. Through

the interactive interface to the workflow system, users can obtain items to

process, update work item status, indicate that specific paperwork has been

received, mark paperwork as being part of a funds or paperwork transmittal,

enter comments about an item, indicate that items can proceed to the next

step in the processing, search for work items meeting certain criteria,

track work items currently in process, and obtain historical information

about items that have already been completely processed.
