EHS&S Manager
. Manage Environmental, Health, Safety and Security programs for two
locations. This includes setting up risk minimization programs such as
LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work etc. Responsible for strategic
planning to reduce injuries, minimize environmental liability and
drive compliance with zero risk as the goal. This was done through
identifying key EHS metrics, setting goals and measuring progress
towards these goals.
. Drove incident investigation and near misses. Stressed the importance
of looking at lead indicators.
. Implemented Responsible Care Management System and receiving
certification/registration in under a year.
. Developed and implemented Emergency Response and Emergency Action
Plans.
. Responsible for compliance with PSM, including process hazard analysis
(using PHA Pro), establishing mechanical integrity programs,
facilitated pre-start up reviews, and developing a management of
change program.
. Responsible for site security, including compliance with Department of
Homeland Security regulations.

water), Air permitting (major source/ minor source), emission
inventories, SPCC, SWPPP, corrective action, closure/post closure
care, ground water monitoring/cleanup, solid and hazardous waste
characterization and disposal, and

work plan development and agency negotiations.
. Responsible for ensuring a robust safety culture by fostering
labor/management relations through the use of safety committees and
safety representatives.

foundry
. Manage compliance with safety and environmental regulations
. Begun implementing DuPont's behavior based safety program - STOP
. Involved in multiple OSHA wall to wall inspections.
. Reduced injury rates that were 3 time industry average to below
industry average. This was accomplished by defining a safety road map
that included:
o Analyze incidents and near missed more critically.
o Identifying common trends and root causes
o Providing incident investigation training to supervisors and
plant personnel
o Including safety in the incentive schemes
o Driving continual improvement
. Managed compliance with permitting and regulatory requirements under,
but not limited to, NSR/PSD, state permits (PTI/PTO), Title V, MACT,
hazardous and solid waste, NPDES, closure and post closure.
. Negotiated consent decrees under both the safety and environmental
programs.
. Helped implemented a comprehensive safety program in an inherently
dangerous industry.
. Routinely called upon to troubleshoot systems and recommend solutions
and process optimization
. Involved in LEAN manufacturing.

HCI, THC), emission inventories, air testing/monitoring, air pollution
control equipment, EPCRA and safety-related issues including Risk
Management Plans and Process Hazard Reviews.
. Developed databases used to track and report to the EPA, process and
emission data. Reduced time required to prepare reports from a month
to under three days.
. Developed a multi-user database used to track and control various
documents compliant with ISO requirements.
