Objective:
Seeking a challenging career in the semiconductors industry where I can use my previous
designing and testing experience to work on advanced technologies.
Education:
• M.S in Electrical Engineering, Kansas State University,GPA-3.52 Aug’2008-May’2010
• B.S in Electrical Engineering, India, GPA-7/10 Aug’2003-May’2007
Research Experience: May’09-present
• Reduction of Jitter in Clock and Data Recovery Architectures (MS Thesis): Designed
a Clock and Data Recovery circuit for low jitter applications. I developed a new non
sequential phase detector which avoids metastability problems commonly encountered in
sequential phase detectors. The linear non-sequential phase detector has better jitter
performance than sequential phase detectors. The simulations were done using Agilent
ADS and Cadence tools. The design took into consideration VCO noise performance,
supply and substrate noise and jitter on reference clock.
• Parallel PRBS Generator for BIST purposes: Designed the circuit for a parallel PRBS
generator using Cadence tools. This PRBS generator was used as an input to the CDR
circuit. The PRBS generator has been designed in a 0.18μ CMOS process.
• Design and simulation of MCML flip flops and gates: Various gates and flip flops were
designed for high speed operation using MCML techniques.
