VP Operations
I initially served as a consultant to MA in 2000. In 2001 this resulted in a fulltime position as a Senior Project Executive. In 2004
was promoted to VP of Operations for MA Angeliades / MA New England. MA Angeliades is the parent company in NYC, with a
volume of $750mm . MA New England is their main subordinate company managing all contracts outside NYC, in parts of NY, CT,
MA, As the VP of Operations, the extent of my responsibilities is full time project management of all construction contracts. This
commences with pre-construction through closeout. This includes, ESTIMATING, SCHEDULING, SELLING, NEGOTIATIONS,
CONTRACTS, PURCHASING, CLAIMS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT. Have been the PRIME CONTACT for architects, owners,
consultants, contractors, prime vendors and officers of my company. Work with company leadership, in house personnel and
support staff to DEFINE and EXECUTE tasks as necessary for each project. Most result in timely, cost effective construction
projects. Responsible for P&L for each contract. Securing the qualified, costs effective personnel, subcontractors and consultants,
for each project. Enforce and insure company policy is maintained. Provided the MOTIVATION to others resulting in producing
positive job progress, via a team effort to achieve and at times surpass the goals of the company, client and user. Participated in
the future BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT of the company.
TRATAROS CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. General Contractors & Managers 1985-2000
Senior Project Executive
I was initially secured as a CONSTRUCTION MANAGER, managing projects for contracts in Maryland, New York and South
Carolina totaling $21mm. In 1990 became a PROJECT EXECUTIVE . Performed all facets of CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
from the bid stages through completion. DEVELOPED computer logging system to better track job out of state JOB COSTS and
reporting DATA back to the home office staff. RESPONSIBLE to secure and maintain PROFIT margins for all projects. This resulted
in PROFIT ranges of 9.2% to 18.3% overall. PROMOTED to SR. Project Executive whereby MULTIPLE projects, project
managers and team personnel were under my DIRECTION . Over (30) personnel were under my management. The concurrent work
volume averaged between $50mm to $75mm per year.
WICKHAM CONTRACTING CO. INC General Contractors 1977 -1985
Construction Manager
Secured by Wickham to take a solely Electrical / Mechanical subcontractor, with an annual volume of $750K and CONVERT into a
GENERAL CONTRACTOR. I was able to REORGANIZE by implementing the required PERSONNEL and TECHNOLOGY required
to accomplish this transition into an active General Contractor. Within (4) years, DEVELOPED and ESTABLISHED the GC division
with an annual volume of over $22mm. All aspects of the required CONSTRUCTION DIVISION tasks, and staff were under my
control. The INTERFACING of the new construction staff with the present Electrical and Mechanical divisions of the company were
my responsibility.
TURNER CONSTURCTION COMPANY General Contractors & Managers 1970 – 1977
Superintendent / Construction Manager
I was initially secured as a FIELD ENGINEER. Was responsible for all-exterior and interior LINES and GRADES for all
contracts. Participated in Turner’s TRAINING PROGRAM for1 years whereby I became ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT working
under Turners General Superintendent. INITIATED the development of project COST MANAGEMENT techniques, correlated
SCHEDULING and established, TIME studies to manage filed labor PRODUCTIVITY while assisting in the SUPERVISION of all
trades and contractors. In 1973 became ARCHITECTURAL SUPERINTENDENT for the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital project
($10mm -1973). Was promoted to General Superintendent and later Construction Manager, which increased my responsibilities
in the SUPERVISION and MANAGEMENT of employees and subcontractors.
