As the sole Business/Systems Analyst for a provider of software
solutions to municipal and county government agencies, I was chiefly
responsible for performing Gap Analysis sessions whenever custom
development was required. Providing subject matter expertise, I
facilitated sessions to elicit and document user requirements and
participated in the design or enhancement of solutions for the
following business areas: Building Permits, Planning and Zoning, Code
Enforcement Case Management, Business/Contractor Licensing, Public
Works Permits, Water Management, Fire Marshal Inspections and Juvenile
Fire Setter Case Management. I introduced UML methodologies to
document out-of-the-box software processes and the results of Gap
Analysis sessions which resulted in a reduction of development rework
due to inaccurate requirements definition.

In January 2009, additional duties included: configuration of the
companies out-of-the-box product using data collected from on-site
sessions, training subject matter experts in the validation of the
