. Prepared and administered the department budget, which totaled
$676,000 in 2008.
. Managed self-administered flexible benefit plan (TMFlex) and reduced
health insurance
costs by as much as 15 percent within company parameters while
maintaining quality.
. Developed and implemented a communications program to educate
employees on the need
to increase insurance premium contributions on employee-only
insurance at the Port
Orange, Florida facility from 8% to 20% of total premium in 2009 and
from 0% to 8% for
the rest of the company.
. Participated in Chatsworth, California facility shutdown announcement
and in Pharmex,
Florida facility acquisition for new hire orientation, records, job
descriptions, performance
appraisals and disciplinary policies.
. Worked closely with the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating
Officer, the
Director of Manufacturing and the Plant Manager to coordinate
continued development and
implementation of plant policies and disciplinary procedures.
. Increased number of days without a lost time accident from 103 to
