The goal of this project is to unify TCN (The Content Network) and WEBCON the two
functionalities at sears with the new Marketplace Seller Portal platform into a single portal to
manage all OBU item/content needs. This is a highly scalable and customizable platform that will
meet the needs of Marketplace assortment growth and overall content enrichment/management
needs.
Project 1: SPIN
SPIN (Sears product information network) has thousands of vendors selling their products
on sears.com. Various vendors have multiple entry points to sell their products on sears.com. Aim
of this project was to integrate all the entry points into one single point called SPIN, and to make
the product available on sears.com in 24hrs from the point of creation. I was involved in
designing the UI for spin so that vendors can create their items enrich them and publish
to sears.com.. I was also involved in content management, Item management, vendor
management and inventory and order managements.
Project 2: Local Market Place
The aim of the project is to allow sellers to sell their products on sears.com though multiple
channels like fulfillment by merchant (FBM), fulfillment by Sears (FBS) and cost per click
(CPC). I was involved in UE designs to create UI for sellers, seller management, item
management, inventory management. I was also gathering requirements for reporting and Ban
management. I was also working on a new project integrating this local market place project to a
new social networking site, which is Delver.com, allowing sellers to select their channels to sell
their products on either sears.com or delver.com or both.
Responsibilities:
• Documented the Process Flows for B2C and B2B in the High Level Requirements
Document.
