Defeated the United Auto Workers’ attempt organize our non-union facilities in Minerva and

Canal Fulton. Resolved issues that encouraged the organizing attempt & kept both facilities

union free.

1/92 - 3/94 RB&W Corporation Kent, OH

Manager Human Resources, US Operations

Managed HR function for 2 operations which manufactured fasteners through a process of cold

o

heading. The OH & PA union facilities totaled 300 employees.

Reduced employment in the OH facility from 200 to 100 in preparation for the sale of the

9/87 – 1/92 Morse Controls Hudson, OH

Production Supervisor

Morse Controls is a manufacturer of mechanical push/pull cables, with applications in the

pleasure boating industry & industrial off road vehicle industry. I was initially responsible for

50 hourly Associates who assembled over million mechanical cables annually. Management

added responsibility for a state of the art automated cable assembly system & later the cable

manufacturing department. This brought my responsibility to million cable assemblies

annually and 60 hourly Associates.
