A wholly owned subsidiary of $2B publicly traded Blyth and manufacturer of

chaffing fuel and table top lighting serving large retail chains and large

food service distributors.

Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to the CEO of Sterno and executive leadership of the parent Blyth

Corp. (NYSE), responsible for financial reporting, risk, treasury, legal,

M&A, audit, Sarbanes Oxley, tax, and intellectual property, I.T, cash

management.

. Standardized roles and responsibilities surrounding monthly and

quarterly closing processes which resulted in closings being accurate

and complete in two and a half days and implemented throughout other

subsidiaries.

. Reduced working capital $8M and returned the company to positive cash

flow.

. Reimplemented SysPro (ERP System) established and trained Subject

Matter Expects in each department throughout the company raising the

effectiveness of the system to 83%.

. Renegotiated commodity supply agreements resulting in a $1.8M in year

Gourmet Kitchens, Inc., Chicago, Illinois January 2007 - February 2008

A $30M closely held USDA fresh food manufacturer selling to major retail

chains throughout the mid-west.

Responsible for financial reporting, risk, treasury, legal, M&A, audit,

tax, patents, and banking relationships.

. Restructured the financial reporting of the company allowing decisions

to be measured and modeled.

. Aligned the company with its bank covenants and eliminated an audit

. Led the JV due diligence and represented the company in all

negotiations with external investors.

Heartland Food Corp., Downers Grove, Illinois March 2005 - July 2006

Venture Capital owned franchise QSR chain with 249 units bought out of

bankruptcy generating over $270M in annual revenues.

LSG Sky Chefs, Chicago, Illinois October 1998 - February 2005

$800M food manufacturing and service division of Lufthansa Airlines

servicing major airlines throughout the world.

Corporate Director of Marketing and Customer Service, October 2002 -

February 2005

Responsible for global business relationship and growth with United

Airlines. Negotiated all domestic and international contracts and bids,

oversaw new product development, pricing and quality assurance.

. Built solid relationship with United. Mobilized and coordinated LSG

Sky Chefs resources to deliver bid that included supply chain

management, buy-on-board program, traditional catering services and IS

support. Won United Airlines' domestic business, equating to $100M

annually for a six-year term.

. Drove an additional $2M in revenue by launching new buy-on-board

product line. Proposed the program to United Airlines as a way to

serve an upscale product to passengers that was unavailable to their

major competitor. United successfully adopted the program.

Director of Finance and Administration, October 1998 - October 2002

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations - Managed all aspects of

financial reporting, budget development, financial analysis, cost

containment, purchasing, IT and IS departments. Analyzed capital project

proposals. Reviewed and negotiated vendor and union contracts. Assured

compliance with corporate accounting policies as well as GAAP.

. Led the Lean Manufacturing implementation reducing waste and

headcount. The overall implementation and value stream mapping of the

facility reduced overall headcount 32%.

. Eliminated eight finance positions. Reorganized and standardized

financial and statistical reporting. Developed daily key indicator

report (dash boards) and accountability system. Identified areas of

both underperformance and superior performance. As a result of these

efforts, management could quickly respond to changes in the business

environment.

. Developed a "real time" electronic reporting system to provide instant

feedback regarding quality issues to hourly associates and management.

Negative comments from flight attendants were reduced more than 50%

and penalties associated with negative comments were eliminated

locally, saving the company $330K annually. The system expanded to be

utilized for safety and other feedback loops in other large complex

units within the company.

Ogden CORPORATION, New York, New York March 1981 - September 1998

A publicly traded $2B multi-national conglomerate focusing on Aviation

Services, Sport & Recreations and Energy development. The Aviation

Division provided service to airlines throughout the world

Vice President / Controller and Assistant Corporate Secretary, November

1995 - September 1998

Reporting to the CFO led the financial reporting for the $400M aviation

food and ground divisions in the US and overseas, acquisition and

divestiture activities. Established corporate policies and procedures as

related to financial controls, managing 22 controllers in North, South, and

Central America.

. Led the $88M divestiture of Ogden Aviation Food Services to LSG Sky

Chefs. Provided timeline contingent upon regulatory approval, and led

cross-functional senior management teams coordinating the due

diligence responses. Negotiated the stock sale and transitional

services agreements. Split assets identified as barriers to closing by

the U.S. Justice Department, and, identified a buyer for residual

assets.

. Implemented PeopleSoft throughout North American Operations resulting

in enhanced and standardized financial reporting.

. Implemented Hyperion Reporting throughout off shore operations

reducing closing cycles by one week.
