Chief Financial Officer
Reporting to the CEO of Sterno and executive leadership of the parent Blyth
Corp. (NYSE), responsible for financial reporting, risk, treasury, legal,
M&A, audit, Sarbanes Oxley, tax, and intellectual property, I.T, cash
management.
. Standardized roles and responsibilities surrounding monthly and
quarterly closing processes which resulted in closings being accurate
and complete in two and a half days and implemented throughout other
subsidiaries.
. Reduced working capital $8M and returned the company to positive cash
flow.
. Reimplemented SysPro (ERP System) established and trained Subject
Matter Expects in each department throughout the company raising the

Airlines. Negotiated all domestic and international contracts and bids,
oversaw new product development, pricing and quality assurance.

Sky Chefs resources to deliver bid that included supply chain
management, buy-on-board program, traditional catering services and IS
support. Won United Airlines' domestic business, equating to $100M

containment, purchasing, IT and IS departments. Analyzed capital project
proposals. Reviewed and negotiated vendor and union contracts. Assured
compliance with corporate accounting policies as well as GAAP.
. Led the Lean Manufacturing implementation reducing waste and
headcount. The overall implementation and value stream mapping of the
facility reduced overall headcount 32%.
. Eliminated eight finance positions. Reorganized and standardized
financial and statistical reporting. Developed daily key indicator
report (dash boards) and accountability system. Identified areas of
both underperformance and superior performance. As a result of these
efforts, management could quickly respond to changes in the business
environment.
. Developed a "real time" electronic reporting system to provide instant
feedback regarding quality issues to hourly associates and management.
Negative comments from flight attendants were reduced more than 50%
and penalties associated with negative comments were eliminated
locally, saving the company $330K annually. The system expanded to be

units within the company.

Reporting to the CFO led the financial reporting for the $400M aviation
food and ground divisions in the US and overseas, acquisition and
divestiture activities. Established corporate policies and procedures as
related to financial controls, managing 22 controllers in North, South, and
Central America.
. Led the $88M divestiture of Ogden Aviation Food Services to LSG Sky
Chefs. Provided timeline contingent upon regulatory approval, and led

the U.S. Justice Department, and, identified a buyer for residual
assets.
