. Successfully launched and managed new business startup in China,

including P&L responsibility. Initiated and developed complete China

marketing, operation plan, financial analysis and risk and mitigation

plan. In three months, developed new business with potential fee up to

$2M.

. Managed a global based cross-functional team for successful China

transmission) project for major Chinese auto companies.

. Helped winning the first $4M contract for the new business startup of

engineering service in US auto industry.

engineering consulting fees. Projects for major US auto companies

include comprehensive safety vehicle (active safety system), model-

based development, AutoSAR, ISO26262 and electrical vehicle control

system safety.

. Developed a dozen due diligence analysis for company's merge and

General Motors, 2004-2006

Project Lead - Led the advanced diesel engine control system development.

- Led the project for a production vehicle and met the challenges of

better performance and very strict emission standards. Coordinated the

development works of a diverse team and covered the development cycle

from the algorithm development, implementation to dyno and vehicle

calibration and testing.

- With the advanced control technique, the diesel engine system met

federal emission standard without using NOx after-treatment (saving of

$1000 per vehicle).

- Applied advanced statistical analysis in the project and filed five

patent applications within two years of the new job.

Motorola Inc., 2000-2004

Technical Specialist - Led the technology development and consulting

projects in the areas of model based electrical control systems

development and in-vehicle networks. Consulted major US automotive

companies and suppliers in electrical control systems and network design.

Expert on vehicle architecture, embedded software and hardware, OSEK,

MBD, auto-code generation, and in-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Flexray).

- Received Motorola Bravo Award for top-ranked work performance.

- Played leading role and successfully completed important projects for

major customers (Ford, Chrysler, Delphi), all exceeding customers'

expectations.

- Developed an embedded system OS that achieved 20% cost saving and

better performance. This project covered complete software development

life cycle.

- Worked on production automotive electronic control modules

development, including seat control module, transmission control

module and engine control algorithm.

Design and Analysis of Control System Lab, 1997-2000

Successfully completed a three-year National Science Funds fully funded

in reset control technology and its application on mechanical system
